Gov. Pritzker Announces One Appointment to Boards and Commissions

Building on a strong team of diverse experts in their fields, Governor JB Pritzker announced the following appointment in his administration

Roxanne Nava will continue to serve as a Member of the Illinois Finance Authority.* Nava currently serves as the Executive Director of the Metropolitan Family Services. She has over 25 years of experience leading progressive initiatives that have delivered incredible results. Nava also has experience working with the City of Chicago as the Chief Small Business Officer, where she oversaw the City's Small Business Center to provide 80,000 small business with critical support, licenses, and permits. Nava was previously Director of the Illinois Division of Financial Institutions and Assistant Director of the Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity. She is affiliated with several professional and community-based organizations including Lurie Children's Hospital Advisory Board, Access to Care, and the Belmont Cragin Health Center. Nava received a Bachelor of Science from DePaul University and a Master of Business Administration from National Louis University.
